When you save a notepad text file for the first time,
just BEFORE you close and exit the Save As pop-up window,
You must check for the "Encoding" down at the bottom, and choose either the (Unicode) or (UTF-8). Only do that IF your text is written in any language other than English. Otherwise, the next time you will open your notes in Notepad, a bunch of several strange symbols will replace your primary written text.

The file must be saved with a .bat extension. After writing the file in Notepad, select File > Save As...; there will be a drop-down at the bottom of the Save As dialogue box, reading "Text Document (*.txt)". Change the drop-down to "All Files (*.*)", then type in the full name to save the file as in the box above: say, "myprogram.bat". Make sure you put ".bat" on the end! Once the file is saved, just double-click on its icon, wherever you saved it, to run.
There are a number of steps one must take to write a batch file, which is an executable file that can automate frequently performed tasks on a computer. Batch files can be written in Notepad, saved, and then once the file extension is changed to .bat, can be double clicked to execute.
I installed my copy of Abiword in C:\portableapps\AbiwordPortable. You can change the file direction as needed. Go to C:\portableapps\AbiwordPortable. Search for a file called normal.awt. Open it in notepad. Search (control F) in the notepad file for "Times". That should bring you to the point you need to be. Change "Times New Roman" (or whatever the default font at the time is) to whatever you want it to be. Note: you must have the font you want installed in c:\WINDOWS\Fonts. Save the notepad file and x out of it. Now, open up Abiword. Your default font should be in effect.

You're probably imagining the number written out in a string of zeros, NOT in exponential notation. (Notepad doesn't handle exponential notation anyway.) The definition of 1 googolplex is: '1' followed by a googol zeros. In an ASCII text file, each character is represented by one byte of data. All the data in your file consists predominantly of the character "0", and there are a googol of them in the file. So the file size must be roughly one googol-Byte. 1 googol is 10100. A good sized hard-drive holds 1 TB = 1012 Bytes. So your Notepad file would fill 1088 1-TB drives ... more than have ever been or are ever likely to be manufactured. Let's not even think about the time required to save or retrieve the file.
You must first have a mount able file such as a MDF or MDS file.
To my knowledge, the package must be unzipped first. Then load the file enclosed.
