No way!!
Singing isn't necessarily good for you, as there isn't much of a benefit from it. It can be bad, however, if you don't sing carefully. Singing too long, straining your voice, screaming, etc. can all be very harmful to your vocal chords. While singing itself is not very helpful for your voice, the process of improving your singing most certainly is. Learning how to sing takes much practice, which can teach you discipline. The warm-ups you do for singing help you stretch out your vocal chords as well, which makes it less likely that you'll strain them afterwards, even when you're just talking.Singing is bad it can hurt your throat

Depends upon the kind of singing you wish to do. If it's a serious study of the voice to improve your existing voice, the benefits are fairly obvious: constructive use of the brain, developing refined listenng skills and encouraging increasing lung capacity, all of which aids to overall good health. If you really want to be good at it, all of the aforementioned things must be in place. If you are talking strictly about recreational singing, it mostlly can promote social skills and 'feel-good' manner.
