Going strictly by your limited description - it sounds like it could be the accessory belt is slipping. Either it is too loose, or is glazed from age. The belt probably needs replacing (not expensive), and if you're handy with tools you should be able to do it yourself.
why does my starter make a loud screeching noise when i start it?
A slipping drive belt is one possibility.
most likely a loose or worn belt.
stater or silanoid
I'd say what you've got is cats in the radiator. Hopefully it is just a loose belt. May be a bearing going out in something, AC, alternator.
my BMW does not start it just makes a click noise
check your brake pads
The door lock actuator is going bad.
dead battery or bad starter or bad starter silanoid
cars tend too
Probably a dead battery. try jumpstarting it. It should start, then after it charges, have it tested. There a reason it was dead. If that doesn't do it, your starter may be bad. Check the cables as well.
broken stsarter or ring gear.
