Shutting down is a typical part of rebooting. During a reboot, the OS typically saves all open information, disables services, and suspends the kernal after sending the 'Power Down And Restart' command to the motherboard. Most motherboards manufactured after 1995 will then restart automatically and begin loading.
However older computers, or unacceptibly poorly designed computers, may not support standard features. Also, if you have an OS that does not support these functions, it can also cause it. The only OSs I know of like this are Windows 3.x, and Windows 95.
the automatic restart on failure feature is turned on
question is too vague
restart the computer and check that no keys are held down, if still broken, then congrats, you just broke a keyboard
No. It will keep running until the engine is ruined.
I want them too, but sadly no, BUT they did Restart the series in may 2011, they just have diffrent covers
take a look at your thermostat.. Mine was doing exactly the same thing and it came out to be the thermostat. apparently if the engine gets too hot it will kill itself and will not restart until its cooled. that's what happened to me anyway. let me know what happens @ mulliscr@gmail.com
You need to check if your DVD drive has new firmware available. Yes, DVD drives have firmware updates too.
It may be heating up too much. There is a sensor that shuts down the motor when it gets too hot to keep from damaging the motor.
It could be on the verge of dying and the game made it restart. or the game may use too much info and the computer has to restart to cope with it.
I suspect RAM problem, replace your RAM, but see your motherboard manual too. But if you have AMI BIOS, then one short beep is RAM problem
There is probably a thermostatic control somewhere that shuts it down when some temperature limit is reached, and on again when the temperature gets too low. Alternatively there might be a fault which shows up when the furnace gets too hot.
Because your PC is running too many programs at once, it can't take anymore so it shuts-down. If it just happens randomly for you then I can'y help. It often happens to me when I have Flight Simulator X open with Google Chrome/Internet Explorer. Hope this helped. :D
you hold the middle button down first, then you hold down the MENU button so they are both held down together. if you hold it down long enough, you will see that it will restart the whole iPod. But if you do it too much, it will probably break or shut down.
