Is it possible to travel back to the past if we travel at the speed of light?
No. By travelling FASTER than the speed of light, this might in theory let you travel back in time. However, it seems likely that neither travelling faster than the speed of light nor time travel is possible. Also note that a human being cannot travel at the speed of light; with a super-spaceship, we might in theory approach this speed, but not quite reach it. Only particles with "zero rest mass" (such as photons or gravitons) can travel at the speed of light (and, in a vacuum, they can ONLY travel at the speed of light).

This depends greatly on: 1. The time of year you travel 2. The airline you use 3. Where in Australia you are travelling 4. How many stops/plane changes you are prepared to make February 1st - Feb 21st using Delta travelling JFK - LAX- Sydney round trip is 305,000 Frequent Flyer miles. How did convicts get back to England?
They didn't. That was the beauty of colonising Australia, as far as the English were concerned. There was usually no reason for the convicts to return, after serving a term of 7, 14 or 21 years. Australia offered much better opportunities for a secure future. If a convict did choose to return, the only means was by ship which, by that time, were travelling regularly from Australia.
