Why would somebody lie about liking you? Being open and honest is one of the most important things you can be in a relationship. Communication is KEY - without that, the relationship stands no chance. Unfortunately, you can't MAKE someone have feelings for you. You can't create something that isn't there. Love is something that exists independently - it WILL find you one day, probably when it's the last thing you're looking for. Popularity has nothing to do with love - love is purely blind.
