red,green, and blue
There are three types of cones on the retina, which respond most strongly to either red, green, or blue light. Your brain interprets light entering your eye as a certain color (in this case yellow) based on the ratio of red, green, or blue cones which are activated by the incoming light. Yellow light would activate green and red cones.
Some or all of the 3 kinds of cone cells (sensitive to red, green or blue light) in the centre of the persons retina.
Rods, cones that absorb long wavelength light (red),cones that absorb middle wavelength light (green), and cones that absorb short ways length light (blue)
Green light - Green, White light - Green, Red light - Black
Visual perception is a result of light being detected by your retina at the back of your eye. Light of different wavelengths determines colour. Objects that are a specific colour absorb light of certain wavelengths and reflect light at other wavelengths. So if an object is green that is because it is absorbing the red and blue light and reflecting green.
No, red light is lower frequency than green light.
The green light would be reflected, but the red light would be absorbed. ---Ryan Wang---
