I brought a Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCI Zetic Sport in November 2006 since I had it I have experienced water sometimes 3inchs in passenger side footwell. The dealership have the car again at the moment stripping it down (again!) and can give me no answer neither can Ford. No one is interested in replacing the car and it currently stinks to high heaven. Hope you have more luck!
If water is getting into the passenger footwell one or more of the weatherstripping has failed. Check the doors as the weatherstripping makes a funned to drain a lot of the water. If there is a leak that can be leading into the cabin of the car.
Pour a bucket of water into the passenger footwell
There is pink anti freeze leaking inside of my car the passenger side what does this mean?
Heateer Core is gone
the heater core is leaking or ac drain is stopped up
Cracked heater core
it is your water condenser for your AC. if you look up under the car on the same side in the same area you should see a tube that hangs down. it should be rubber this tube is clogged with something could be a bug or leaves. clean out the tube and the water will drain
If it is water, it could be a plugged up AC condensation drain or if it is engine coolant, it could be a leaky heater core.
A water leak from the radiator in to the passenger compartment is usually a sign of a leak in the heater core. If the water is not from the radiator then there may be a leak in a window or door seal, or a hole in the undercarriage that is allowing water from the road to soak the carpet..
if your car has got air con and you had the pollen filter changed, check to make sure the cover was put back on properly
A/C drain line is stopped up. Crawl under the car and find the drain line. Usually located on the passenger side near the firewall. Use a blunt object such as a pencil to unclog.
