Best Answer

Deutz (later Deutz-Fahr, later Deutz-Allis) was based in Cologne, Germany, but had manufacturing facilities worldwide. Some products were manufactured in Germany, some were manufactured elsewhere. For example, when Deutz-Fahr bought out Allis-Chalmers in 1985, the American manufacturing remained active.

Deutz-Allis was bought out by AGCO in 1990.
