For unfinished goods such as coal, oil or gas Australia is a great example. For cars, Japan have been known to provide the best meanwhile the UK is known for top fashions.


As you can see each country to their own offers great exports and imports. It's a theory based on globalisation. Whilst many people may not agree to it, it has improved world and countries trade and allows a country to expand its markets.


While Australia may have a higher CAD with the help of imports it can produce items more cheaper and compete with other firms, resulting in a lower price for the consumer. It also allows Australian companies to export their products not only to Australia but to the rest of the world.
