They are located under the black plastic on the top of the engine. Just take the oil cap off and pop the plastic.. you will not see any plug wires because the eco tech uses direct ignition.
Gap the plugs .038" to .043" and torque the plugs to 22 ft/lbs.
To replace the thermostat on a 2002 Cavalier 22 Ecotec, drain the radiator and remove the upper hose assembly. Replace the thermostat and refill the radiator.
Loosen and move the air intake tube for better access. Remove the three 13mm bolts of the spark plug coil rail. Cut the two zip ties of the spark plug coil rail. Remove the spark plugs with 5/8 spark plug socket. Check the gap on the spark plugs. Torque the new plugs in (22 ft/lbs). It is my experience as a shop owner for 22+ years that what the car maker used was the BEST replacement. All plugs nor parts are created equal. You should get 100,000 miles out of the AC Delco plugs and with no driveability problems.

I just started looking into this myself. The black engine cover is a press fit. Just put your hands under both sides of the front of it and lift it up/off. The spark plugs are vertically mounted directly under the cover, so removal should be straight forward. RandyJ 1-22-08 lift

If a 1996 Isuzu Oasis 22 does not have fire to the plugs after changing the timing belt, perhaps a spark plug wire got crossed when hooking up the spark plug wires. Check the coil to make sure the right firing order is being used. Check to make sure the distributor did not accidentally get turned when changing the distributor cap. Also, check the wires to the distributor.
For a 2001 Toyota Sequoia, the factory and spark plug manufacturer recommended gap is .032" (.813mm). The spark plug manufacturer's recommended torque for flat-seated plugs / aluminum heads is 20-30 n-M (15-22 ft lbs), but double check your owner's manual (if available) to be sure.
the starter. if you know where it is you can hit it and see if this helps. you need to see if you have spark at the plugs if so check to see if you have fuel the starter only turns the engine

under the engine block. You had to take the block (engine head) off to get to the back spark plugs. Its pain in the @22.
