the cv joint's or constant velocity joint's are located on either side of the transmission. They come out of the trans and extend to the center of the front wheel hubs. you normally have two cv joint's per axle. I would recomend replacing both axle's, while your down in there any way. it is only a matter of time before the other one go's depending on milage! Hope that helps you!
