They are on the vibration damper ( front of crankshaft ). You can get a better look from under the truck.
As your standing in front of your truck looking into engine bay, stand to the left side of engine. look straight down on the side off the crank pully (lowest pully) you will see a thing resembling a saw blade curved around the pully the big v-notch is 10 degrees btdc that is the factory setting on a 4.9liter. there will be a fine line on the pully itself. line that line up with the v-notch on the marks. Becareful at first I lined mine up on TDC of the exhaust stroke it tried to start but only back fired. I pulled the distributor cap and seen the rotor was way off from where it should have been so I turned the mark around again 1 full turn on the pully , then the rotor lined up. I put the cap back on and it fired right up. Hope this helps someone.
