on the bottom of the block on the left side( when facing the vehicle)
No, only on the sides.
The heads themselves have NO freeze plugs in them. But the block/engine has 8 freeze plugs in it.
If this still has the factory motor it should be either a 3.0 V6 or a 4 cyl. Both of them should have the freeze plugs located in the side of the block. It is identifiable by the circle shaped "cups" inserted into the side of the block.
4 cyl or v6? What year? auto or standard trans?
I know there is one where you have to take out the transmission to get to it and one by the water pump. We had to take out the alternator to get to it.
