If your car has the 2.8L V6 the fuel filter is in the fuel inlet of the carburetter.
If your car has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine with fuel injection the fuel filter is probably right next to the fuel tank on the driver's side of the car, at least that is where the later models have their fuel filter.
