The jacking points are the metal ribs specifically designed to safely lift the vehicle. On most vehicles, there are four jacking points. They're located under the car's rocker panels, just behind the front wheels, and just ahead of the rear wheels. You can check the car manual to find jacking points. If your Car feels a problem you must side your way to a safe position. Stop the car aside. Jack is used to lifting the vehicle up.
There are four jack points for a 1984 - 90 Camaro. They are located on each side, directly behind the front tires and directly in front of the rear two tires.
The rear end in a 2014 SS Camaro can be replaced with a rear end of any 2014 or 2013 Camaro or SS Camaro.
You can put the jack under the shock towers on the front, or the cross brace on the rear.
Support the car on axel stands under rear jacking points then undo shock absorber and then the axel should fall down lower using a jack to support it making the spring loose and should be able to remove and replace.

You can use a rear end from a 2013 or 2014 camaro or ss camro to replace a rear end in a 2014 SS Camaro car.
The owners manual shows the jack points. One on the front and rear sub frame for a floor jack. One below front and back door.I believe there is an arrow or notch made into the trim piece showing the jacking points. Always block the front or rear wheels. Be very careful if using the Toyota supplied jack. Floor jack and jack stands are preferable.

There are four jack points on a 92 Chevy Camaro. One on each side directly in front of the rear tires, and one on each side directly behind the front tires.
