The V10 engine is equipped with 10 individual ignition coils that each attach directly to the top of the spark plug on top of the engine. Before you remove the coils to access the plug (they bolt on), remove the negative terminal of the battery, as they are charge and grounding them out can permanently damage them.....just quoting the chilton's manual.

There is no such thing as a 2001 f250 351 Windsor. I believe the last year of the 351 overhead valve motor was 1996.
Ford uses Motorcraft Spark plugs on all there vehicles.
Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal located in the front of the engine compartment . It will show what type of spark plugs to use and the spark plug gap

disconect the coil and remove the 7mm bolt that holds down the coil, remove the coil then plug.
