In addition to the verses that some Christians use to persecute gays and lesbians, there is also one verse that seems to support gay people. Genesis 2:18, which says:
וַיֹּ×מֶר ה׳ ×ֱלֹוקי×, לֹ×-טוֹב הֱיוֹת ×”Ö¸×Ö¸×“Ö¸× ×œÖ°×‘Ö·×“Ö¼×•Ö¹; ×ֶעֱשֶׂה-לּוֹ עֵזֶר, ×›Ö¼Ö°×?ֶגְדּוֹ׃
And the ETERNAL G-d said: 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper for him.
The Hebrew word for Helper in this verse is ezer (עזר) which is masculine. Now it is true that masculine Hebrew nouns can also be used generically to include the feminine, but if this "helper" was only supposed to be a woman, we would expect the word ozeret (עוזרת). We can conclude that this verse could apply to male helpers or female helpers.

False. The Hebrew Scriptures form what Christians know as the Old Testament.
The two parts of the Bible are the Old Testament and the New Testament.
There are about 294 quotations in the New Testament from the Old Testament. But of these you will seldom find exactly the same words in the two quotations because the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek originally; and through many translations the words also change somewhat. There are also, besides these, about 633 allusions to Old Testament Scriptures in the New Testament.
There are 41 Scriptures on the word vessel in both the Old and New Testament
