There are 4 oxygen sensors on the 2002 Avalanche, located on the exhaust pipes directly behind the engine. You'll have to put the truck on a rack or crawl under it to see them. Two are located on the left side of the exhaust system, with one on the engine side of the catalytic converter, and one just behind the converter. There are two more on the right side of the exhaust system in the same location: one before the catalytic converter, and one after. You'll be looking for a "tap", or an insert into your exhaust pipe, with a single wire coming out of it. The wire is connected to the oxygen sensor, which is screwed into the "tap".
There are 2 knock sensors and they are both located under the intake on the top of the engine. You must remove the intake manifold to access the sensors.
There are 4 sensors,,2 before the converter and 2 after on the exhaust system
The 2002 Pathfinder oxygen sensors are critical part of the engine management system. You can find the oxygen sensors in the exhaust system.
All O2 sensors are located somewhere on your exhaust pipe.
oxygen sensors are part of the exhaust system
It has 4 and they are in the exhaust system.
All oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust system either before or after the catalytic converter.
There are four oxygen sensors on a 2002 Intrepid. There is one before, and one after the catalytic converter on each side of the engine.
There are four oxygen sensors one on each exhaust manifold or bank of cylinders and one after each cat for both banks of cylinders
air fuel ratio sensors are in the exhaust-they are like oxygen sensors but work differently
Where is located the crankshaft sensor in Chevy avalanche 2002 engine 5.3?
The 5.2L has two oxygen sensors.
