The sensor locations will vary some between brands. Usually they will located close to the back of the rotor, they will be small bolted on units with a wiring connector.
If it has 4 wheel antilock brakes, the rear speed sensor is in the rear end. There is a 10mm bolt that holds it in place. One the front there is a sensor for each wheel. It will be at the hub and have a wire going to it.
Two wheel abs will only have wheel speed sensors in the rear. Four wheel abs will have wheel speed sensors at all four wheels.
2 wheel antilock brakes only work on the rear wheels, while 4 wheel antilock brakes work on all 4 wheels.
For my 2000 model 1500, there are 2 sensors. one went bad on mine, located on the "pumkin" of the rear axle. the symptoms were erratic speedometer readings and the idiot light for the antilock brakes came on. seems this sensor data also feeds the computer for the antilock brakes. in actuality, the sensor didn't break. it works on magnetics, and the metal shavings inside the axle fouled it up. had to change the axle oil too.
Improperly adjusted, new pads, low traction, etc.... most vans only had rear-wheel antilock brakes.
More information. There generally isn't a fuse for rear brakes.
I'm pretty sure the speedometer uses the transmission speed sensor. the rear axle speed sensor is for the rear antilock brakes.
the front impact sensors are between the lower radiator support and front bumber. If equipped with side impact sensors they would be located in the panel the front seatbelt straps pull out from. The rear sensors are located between the rear bumper and rear axle on the frame rail
It can be located on each wheel end to read the inside the rotor, or it could be in the rear end close to the drive shaft. It depends on the type of antilock brake system you have.
The sensor for the rear wheels are located on the brake shoe backing plate if you have drum brakes on the rear. The front brake sensor is located next to the caliper. The same if you have rear disc brakes.
Its located on your differential
There are 4 sensors on the 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. The 2 front for the Disc Brakes is behind the rotors on the hub. The inside hub has gears and the sensors are above them. On the rear, where you have Drum Brakes, the sensors are on the back of the Drum Brake Assembly, next to the bleeder screws.
