It has a coil on plug or coilpack setup. The spark plugs are located under the coils. Once you remove the coils you will see the hole the spark plugs are located in. Look for the coils on the side of the engine
Open the bonnet and locate the fuse box next to the battery. It has a black cover on that needs to be lifted off by pressing the latch on the bottom and right hand side. Locate the 10 amp fuse in slot number 3 (it is a small 10 amp fuse positioned next to the big green fuse) and remove. Check to see if the fuse has blown. Insert new 10 amp fuse in its place, put cover back on and close bonnet.
On my old right hand drive Starlet [here in Thailand] it is down and to the right of the steering column, near the door column and hinges, and it is a small plastic flap which I pull up to release the main bonnet locking catch.Once the bonnet pops up, sometimes needing a pull, there is another catch that is just to the right of the pin that goes into the frame. That needs to be lifted then the bonnet finally opens, there is a stay on the right to prop it open.I guess on a left hand drive it may be on the left or the right. In the USA a 'bonnet' is called a 'hood', I think. I hope this helps somebody
