if you look behind the water pump straight down u can see the timing marks.
the timing marks are on the rear of the engine @ the top of the transmission bell housing, use the mark on the flywheel & pointer on the bell housing to line up the timing marks.
Advertised horsepower is..........160HP @ 4400 RPMs. 4-barrel carb.
you have to take off the timing chain cover and replace the seal in the timing chain cover as welll youll need the oil pan seal
The sticker on the top right of the underside of the hood should have a picture of factory spec timing mark.
Passing Marks out of 85 is 34. techwithzm
With a timing light of course. Your crank pully should have 2 marks on it, the first mark is for the leading plugs and is 5 degrees AFTER top dead center (atdc) and the second mark is for trailing and is 20 degrees AFTER top dead center (atdc). Your 85 should have vacuum advance on your distributer, be sure to unplug the vacuum line and cap it off while stetting your timing. Trust me when I say, use only your timing marks, playing with your timing on rotaries causes all sorts of problems
1970's to 1980's had a Magnetic Probe receiver. Digital readout vs. using a Strobe inductive type. I own an 85' Chrysler 5th Ave 5.2L and I can't find actual timing marks so Magnetic Probe in my case is an alternative.

YES it will there is no difference in the design of the camshaft.
either a 305 or a 350
Those are thermoswitches. They open and close with engine temperature controlling vacuum operated devices such as the EGR and the ignition spark advance.
