behind the crank pully on the bottom left side pulled off the timing belt.
No, the 96 2.2L Camry's are non interference engines, meaning the valves will not come into contact with the piston. Align the crank to top dead centre and camshaft to it's markings. Replace timing belt.
you have a bad crank OIL SEAL
Doesn't have one, it has a distriburator
The timing marks on a 1991 Toyota Tercel are on the crank pulley. They are located on the front of the pulley and under the cam.
They were used on the 1992 - 1996;Engine: 5SFEChassis: SXV10
A bad fuel injector can cause your 2004 Toyota Camry to smoke when you start it up. A plugged air filter can also cause it to smoke.
There is a o or a < on the cam pulley that lines up with a mark on the head. The crank shaft is brought to the 0 degree mark on the timing cover. Then you put the belt on. You could do it the hard way and bring cylnder 1 to TDC and then rotate the cam so the valves for that cylinder are closed and then put the belt on.
you can't crank it shut, the motor is electronically worked by a switch. You will probably need to replace the switch or the moonroof motor is no longer good.
1996 camray does not crank at all
do you have a diagram for an Injector pump, cam shaft, Crank shaft timing belt replacement for a Toyota 2C-T (I believe its the same as a 2C Motor) 2Litre Diesel mtr. 90's vintage. Even believe its the same as a 1C. Anyway, I will pay for the schematics showing the 'marks' for the relevant pulley cogs. The pulley belt is a 177 tooth round edged tooth belt. The only other relevance is its on a Camry Lumiere 1992 turbo. thank you
It is located on the timing chain cover.
