I have a 92 PA, and the main vacuum line comes from the engine and goes through the fire wall. Mine had become disconnected and all heater and A/C functions did not work properly. You might check to see if this is connected.
depending on the year of the car it could be as simple as a leaking vacuum line or in newer models a bad sensor located on the motor that controls the cruise control
Need to know which one you are looking for or, what does this vacuum control valve control.
Some systems use engine vacuum to move the control doors. You could have a vacuum leak.
There is a vacuum problem to the internal vent control assembly. Either a vacuum leak, missing hose, or blocked vacuum port is not allowing vacuum to reach the ports of the door controls that direct air flow inside the HVAC box under the dash. Check for vacuum at the control assembly, and then that the assembly is porting the vacuum to the control pods.

A good place to start is to check for leaks in the vacuum lines associated with the heater controls. Many of the controls are vacuum actuated & if there is a leak in a control or associated line it may cause a rough idle
The 2000 Pontiac Grand Am engine idle vacuum hose is located on the back of the injector fuel pump. A diagram of the vacuum hoses can be obtained from most General Motors dealerships.
No such part exists on a Durango.
It is a bimetallic vacuum switching valve. it controls the EGR system.
Selector control Vacuum under hood and under dash Vacuum actuated motors under dash
The Vacuum switching valve controls the EGR Valve.
No air flow? Check for vacuum leak either under dash or at engine compartment Maybe bad vacuum diaphragm under dash Maybe bad selector control
