Pretty straightforward. Three across the front, three in back. The rear ones on any transverse engine are the trick. I never had to crawl underneath to reach mine, though. Sometimes getting the wire boots off can be a problem if they're old and stuck on. Use some dielectric grease on them when you reinstall.
Same as you normally would in any other car, depends on the spark plugs.
Put the IROC up on jack stands and remove the spark plugs from under the engine.
Remove the spark plug wire caps from the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs by turning them to the left with a 5/8 deep well socket.
i cant figure it out either. . . .. . . .the world may never know
its broken
Screwed into the head.
Not to be disrespectful, however you just answered your own question...if it's a V-6, there are 6 spark plugs!

6.
The spark plugs on a 1988 model, 70hp Johnson outboard, should be gapped to .030in.
factory specs are the best.
They are screwed into the cylinder head, at the end of the plug wires.
