∙ 12y agowhere plate tectonics meet, plate tectonics come together and form a volcanoe, and there are masses of magma in "pockets" and once it hits a certain pressure, they erupt. there is a place near Indonesia called the "ring of fire" and there is a huge chain of volcanoes there.
