A Float (it is a sponge with a firm side for pressing the grout into the spaces between the tiles) also several separate sponges and a lot of water.Note: If you are considering the newer style grout that is a "two part" mixing "epoxy style" of grout. Please work in very small areas and use a clean sponge to clean the areas. Buy a lot of sponges, way more than you would suspect. Although these products are very good they are difficult to work with.Good luck with your project.

Yes, you can apply new grout over existing grout, but it is generally not recommended as it may not adhere properly and could lead to future issues with the grout. It is best to remove the old grout before applying new grout for a more durable and long-lasting finish.
New grout will not bond well to old grout because the surface of the old grout may be too smooth or uneven to create a strong bond. It's recommended to remove the old grout before applying new grout for a better adhesion and more consistent finish.

Yes.... But if the tile is glazed and/or the grout is epoxy (unlikely unless in a commercial building) these do NOT need to be sealed (neither will absorb water so they won't accept the sealer). The rule of thumb is to put a few drops of water on the tile and the grout, if it soaks in within 30 seconds it needs to be sealed. Never use a topical sealer. Always use a waterbased PENETRATING sealer. You will need to reapply bi-yearly or yearly in most situations, more if the tile is exposed to water. Hope this helps..........
You can find grout cleaner at all major chain markets. They may have more knowledge about your particular issue at a hardware store. There are many brands of grout cleaner and all may not be suited to your task. Hardware stores like Lowes and HomeDepot have experienced staff that will be happy to help you with your grouting needs.
The coverage area of grout can vary depending on the type and application method, but a general rule of thumb is that 1 bag of grout (typically 25 lbs) covers about 100 to 200 square feet for standard tile sizes. Therefore, 9 lbs of grout would cover approximately 36 to 72 square feet, depending on the grout's thickness and the size of the joints between tiles. Always check the specific manufacturer's guidelines for more accurate coverage information.
