If you are 19 and your girlfriend is 16 and pregnant can you get married without parental consent in Kansas?

No. Actually, there are a few states in which u can get married without parental consent. In Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland and Oklahoma, they allow pregnant teens or teens who have already had a child to get married without parental consent. In Florida, Kentucky, and Oklahoma, the young couple must have authorization from a court. Maryland requires that the minor be at least 16. Even with parental approval, many states will require court approval when a person is 16 years of age or less.Hope this helps! Elope means to run away to get married without telling many people or much planning at all. Usually done when a couple knows that someone will try to stop their wedding. Sometimes it is done completely on a whim.

Can two 14-year-olds get married if they have parental consent?

No, not at the age of 14, there is no state that will permit marriage. Every state in the U.S. requires a person to be 18 in order to get married without parental consent, with the exception of Mississippi (21) and Nebraska (19). Mississippi requires a person to be 21 in order to get married without parental consent. Nebraska requires a person to be 19 in order to get married without parental consent. The person to get married "with" parental consent is: girls 16, boys 16.

No that is only legal in a couple of states. Pregnancy don't give you more rights other than concerning the baby.

Should teenagers be allowed to get married without parental consent?

It is not right in todays world that teenagers should get married without the consent of both parents from both sides. First of all marriage is a serious matter, teenagers should first have good jobs, and parents of both should be there as their blessings for the couple is a must for it to work out.

Can a 17 year old get married without their parents consent?

Well it depends. All states but Nebraska require the couple to be 18 to marry without parental permission. In Nebraska it's 19. A few states waive this requirement if there is a pregnancy but then you most likely still have to have court approval. If you are pregnant/already have kids there are a few states who allow you to get married without parental consent but then you must have permission from a court. And even with parental approval, most states require court approval when you are 16 or less.

Are there any states where it is legal to get married under the age of 18?

In just about every state you can get married at 16 if you have parental consent. There is no state that will allow someone under the age of 18 to get married without parental consent/court approval/special circumstances.

If a girl is 17 and her boyfriend is 19 and they live in Indiana can they still get married in Mississippi without parental consent?

Mississippi has no residency requirement, so, yes, even if you live in another state, you can get married in Mississippi. However, you have to have parental consent if you're *under 21*. (I did verify this today with the county clerk's office) Every state in the U.S requires that a couple be 18 in order to marry without parental consent, with the exception of Mississippi (21) and Nebraska (19). The only way to get married in any state at 17 without parental consent is to get court approval, but I have no idea what that would involve. And I wonder if by the time you got approval (assuming that you did) you wouldn't be 18 anyway--it's been my experience that the courts don't move incredibly quickly.

Can you get married at age 15 if you have a baby with the other person without parental concent?

Not likely, most places require you to be at least 16 to obtain a marriage license even with parental consent. There are a couple of states where a court order may allow it, but they don't like doing it.

Do you and your boyfriend have to be together for a certain amount of time to married in North Carolina if you are 16?

In NC if you're 16 and have parental consent, then you can get married, regardless of how long you've been a couple

Can a married 16 year old couple move in with the other without parental concent?

Yes, you can legally move in without their permission. They had to give permission for you to get married and that emancipates you.
