My Haynes repair manual shows - drain and refill ( FOR PAN ONLY ) 2.7 quarts for two wheel drive 3.0 quarts for four wheel drive My Chilton repair manual shows - for complete system , transmission , converter , lines , cooler etc 9.7 quarts for two wheel drive ( add an additional 0.3 pints for the 4X4 )
on 2 wheel drive the torque is 60 lbs on upper & 94 lbs on lower On 4 wheel drive it is 60 lbs upper & 135 on the lower. This is stated in the Haynes repair manual

Something with a manual transmission and either rear wheel drive or four wheel drive.. even better in the case of the latter if it has a manual transfer case. Vehicles with front wheel drive or asymmetrical all wheel drive are generally not recommended for flat towing.
