When you delete a file in the windows world, the file is not physically removed from the disk, but the space it occupied is just flagged as being empty.
In actuality what happens is the file name is changed and the data will remain so long as no new data is overwritten on that space.
So, providing you havent saved a lot of new files, or moved files around a lot (such as a defrag) the data should still be intact on the disk.
There are several freeware & shareware programs out there for recovering deleted files. Google something along the lines of "freeware undelete"
There are no guarantees, its a largely hit & miss affair. Even in ideal conditions, I've found i can succsessfully recover files about 50% of the time.
Be advised, however, that the process of downloading & installing any new software (including the undelete programs i just mentioned) may overwrite the data you're hoping to recover. If you have any way to run that undelete program without writing anything to your hard disk... such as running it from a thumb drive or cdrom.... it would greatly increase your odds of actually getting your lost file(s) back.
maybe sumone reported u. it happns. This isn't very specific, possibly the website has been deleted. It could also be down to be worked on.

The easy way: Reinstall windows ME The hard way: read the link below for details of what vmm32 is & how to go about fixing it... When it talks about win98, just substitute windows ME, they're very similar as far as this particular issue goes. Personally i'd recommend the easy way.
yea you can do that and they cant see what you did but i suggest dont do it yeah you could delete the history if its bad and u dont like it delete it so yeah u can It is not a good idea to delete your browsing history, because of the fact that it is clear that you've done that for any reason. Mainly people do that not to reveal their browsing habits. I'd suggest to find and delete only compromising information from your PC, i.e. scan your PC history, choose ONLY the items that MUST BE DELETED. Consider using History Killer Pro 5.0.1. It is the program you need.
Windows has a built in Recycle Bin in all versions of Windows. This is available to help to recover files accidnetly deleted. You can retrieve a file in the recycle bin in Microsoft. It remains until the files are emptied from the Recycle bin. If the deleted files have been
If you only deleted it from the favorites, in should be in the recycle bin and can be recovered. If you emptied the recycle bin, there is little you could do except make a new folder and attempt to replace everything in the folder that has been deleted.
Deleted photos on a Windows 7 Personal Computer end up in the Recycle Bin. As long as the Recycle Bin has not been emptied any deleted photos can be restored.
There are free undelete programs that you can download and use if the recycle bin has been emptied. But it also depends on how long ago it was deleted as windows starts to overwrite deleted files. To restore them it should be done as soon as possible
Check in the recycle bin. You can restore it if it is there, along with its files. If not, you can recreate it where it was, although none of the files that might have been it will be there.
Most of the time, deleted files are sent to a temporary storage folder commonly known as the "recycle bin". In the recycle bin, you can view "deleted" files and decide whether to permanently remove them or restore them back to their original location. Once a file has been deleted from the recycle bin, it cannot be recovered in any way.
Use a undelete program.

Files that have been deleted from the computer by the user can either be deleted from the hard drive directly or sent to the recycling bin. Files that are detected by your anti-virus software are often sent to a quarantine folder on your hard drive.
If you restored it, it should have been returned to the location it was deleted from.
Go to the "Recycle Bin" find the name of the file, click on it, and hit reopen. +++ Though if you've deleted it a second time, from 'Recycle' (what a silly name!) you'd need recovery software to find it before it's over-written.
