The cheapest way (free if you have the tools) is to flip the leaf spring hangers upside down.
It's spring has sprung. Either the leaf spring or the coil spring (whichever is applicable) has become compressed. Either that, or something really heavy was on the passenger side and has damaged your suspension. You could also have a flat tire on the right side.
It may have an extra leaf spring on the rear, and over loads on it and that is about it.
They must be crap! Our company has two dodge 1500's, and one 2500. We have had four broken leaf springs so far. we never carry heavy loads in two of these trucks. Dodge should recall them. Do i hear class action?
Attaching a leaf spring to a chassis
A set of leaf spring that is so mounted that it is at right angles to the length of the Vehicle is known as the transverse leaf spring.
the eye of a leaf spring, assuming u mean the eye at end of spring, is used to bolt the spring to the vehicle
Most leaf spring helper kits do not require you to take apart the leaf assembly, But if you have one that does, The existing (factory) bolt WILL NOT be long enough to add another leaf in the stack, You will need to buy A longer bolt, Keep in mind that the bolt is hardened to atleast 8.8, I do not know how important it is to have A hardened bolt sinse the U-BOLTS are holding the thing together, But I ALWAYS put in A hardened bolt anyway., Good luck, Jamison.
