if you're up to what i think. i can help. i have a 98 zx2 with performance upgrades. if your trying to make it go faster than the 106 mph governor please upgrade tires and suspension first. the oem stuff has speed ratings that don't allow Indy driving seriously you can die or worse, but here goes- under the console that your gear shift and emergency stick out of (Philips head scewdriver to remove) sit the all powerful "obd-ii safc computer" (metal box with abunch of wires mounted to the floor) call dealer service or go in person and find out for sure the color. mine is white with black stripe. i installed a toggle switch on mine because this wire also controls cruise control. ifyou don't have cruise control all you do is cut the wire. it doesn't disable the speedometer. you may throw a code though when it rains(engine lite)
