Short answer, yes. Long answer, that would depend on the width of the neck, the action height you are attempting to achieve and whether or not the neck is from a stratocaster or telecaster. It would also depend on if you plan to use the original head. It also does not need to be a Fender patented neck if you are willing to put in design time. This long answer may require some woodworking and/or engineering skills, but it is not impossible.
A Fender branded bass guitar. They are of high quality and should be treated well, therefore the buyer should be cautious if the item is used and look for any damage such as splits or a warped neck. They are relatively easy to find replacement parts for.

If you find a heavy gauge string is bending the neck, then you are probably either tightening it too much or the string was not designed for the guitar. It is generally best to buy strings designed for a stratocaster and Fender make strings designed for certain guitars.
On mine it's in the sound hole just below the strings.
I think the model of Fender guitars are defined by its shape and contour. There should be some markings in key spots; like the inside of the body, where the heel of the neck bolts in or in the cavity under the controls plate. But, these provide information about manufacturing date and assembly. Try giving Fender a call or find some respectable luthier. Regards, Eric
this guitar was made either between 1998 and 2000 if it is the American mmade. you can unbolt the neck if oyu want and it should tell you the prodution yr.
