Short answer, yes. Long answer, that would depend on the width of the neck, the action height you are attempting to achieve and whether or not the neck is from a stratocaster or telecaster. It would also depend on if you plan to use the original head. It also does not need to be a Fender patented neck if you are willing to put in design time. This long answer may require some woodworking and/or engineering skills, but it is not impossible.
Fender makes an excellent acoustic guitar starter pack that contain everything one will need to learn to play the guitar. The GuitarCenter website carries the Fender kit for less than $250 and they ship to over 90 countries.
There are many different types of fender guitars. One is the Fender Stratocaster. The fender Strat. is what some people call the universal guitar. People call the Strat this because if you look at any type of music (jazz, rock, blues, funk, country) you will find at least one artest that plays a fender strat. I own an American Fender Stratocaster Deluxe and I love it. If you are a rock fan, then go with the Telecaster which was made to play rock music. Fender also makes acoustic guitars but they are not the best quality I think. If you are looking for an acoustic guitar then look at Ibanez. They make a good acoustic guitar. I hope that this helps. If you have any other questions about guitars, I would suggest looking in the fourms of this website. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ This is the best website for all your guitar needs.
They come stock with Fender .009's but any .009 string will work.
His main guitar is a Fender Telecaster Plus, I think from around '94 (they don't make this any more) The main difference between this and other Telecasters are the Lace Sensor Pickups - Red dually in the bridge and a blue in the neck. Also, he has a kill switch installed.
Apparently these guitars were manufactured in Corina between 86-87 with a small amount produced in 88. They are american, and they were built for the export market. Cannot find any further information regarding this on the internet.
no any other brand of guitar will self-destruct because it can't handle the awesomeness of fender strings
you shouldnt, it should be a 1/4" jack like any other guitar/amp
A Fender branded bass guitar. They are of high quality and should be treated well, therefore the buyer should be cautious if the item is used and look for any damage such as splits or a warped neck. They are relatively easy to find replacement parts for.
Some Jazz copies aren't exactly built to Fender's specifications. Measure the existing neck and compare it with the specifications on the page linked below. If your existing neck is warped, broken, or just poorly designed, it may improve playability. You'd have to play a real Jazz and compare the feel of the neck with your existing neck to see if there would be any advantage.
Fender serial #'s starting in "S" typically refer to the 1970's
You can get a American Fender Stratocaster from most guitar shops... or you can go towww.gak.co.uk You can purchase an American Fender Stratocaster at any Guitar Center, Musician's Friend.com or at a music retailer that carries higher end guitars. Extremely valuable and a rare bird indeed! As valuable as any guitar out there.
Fender Guitar amplifiers can be found online at any site that specializes in the sale of musical instruments. These could be independent shops offering their products for sale online up to large, national retailers like Guitar Center.
depends on your style but fender squiers are cheap and sound good. plus any guitar made by dean.
what about something like peavey?
Don't take this the wrong way, but roughly 70 bucks at the most. Squire is the watered down Fender look a likes that Fender also happens to own. Not very high quality sorry to say. However, a long time ago Fender used to make a guitar I believe was called the Squire but it was the name of the guitar not the sub brand, for lack of a better term. That might be worth quite a few bucks but don't get your hopes up because if it looks anything like new and if it says "Squire by Fender" then you're out of luck.
To replace the Sunfires fender, you will need to disconnect any wiring (marker lights) connected to the fender. With a helper, unbolt the fender then set it off. Check for any tack welds that may be holding the fender on as well.
