One does not need to purchase the Windows Live Sync software. It can be downloaded for free online from the 'software informer' website. One can also download it from 'CNET'.
Yes, Windows Live Sync on your computer could be necessary on the computer. Windows Live Sync is designed to helped the user sort and store files.
ActiveX is used for visuals in diffrent games and windows software. Live Mesh was Microsoft's old sync application. It's been replaced by SkyDrive.
Someone can purchase a software that will allow them to sync all their files together at the Apple Store. The Apple Store calls their file sync service iCloud.
Right below the sign in box for your user name and password is a check box that you can check to tell Live Sync to remember your password. [That is true but there is a known bug in the Live software (including Messenger and Sync) that causes it to fail to remember login data even when the box is checked. See discussion and software fix here: http://messengergeek.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E3785B1281BBDA1!2883.entry?sa=954280017. It worked for me. Scan the software fix for viruses before using it, of course.]
Windows Live Sync was a file synchronization service by Microsoft that allowed users to keep files in sync across multiple computers and devices. It enabled users to access their files from anywhere by maintaining a consistent version across various locations. The service was integrated with Windows Live services and later evolved into what is now known as SkyDrive, and eventually OneDrive, which offers cloud storage and file sharing capabilities. Windows Live Sync was discontinued in 2011.
The only way I've found is you have to sync it with the Zune software.
I heard that a way to have your Ipod nano configure to windows media player to use for sync... go to www..mgtek.com/dopisp/ Somehow you have to purchase a plug-in which is around $20 bucks
windows sync center or windows media player
Connect your Zune and open the Zune software. If the computer won't detect the device... Go to: Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Change Settings > Exceptions and check the box "Zune Wireless Sync." Then hit "okay." That should fix your problem. To sync media, open the Zune software while your Zune is connected; to charge and use the Zune, close the Zune software.
I have a Zune Hd and also had this problem. Go to: Start >Control Panel >Windows Firewall >Change Settings >Exceptions and check the box "Zune Wireless Sync". Then hit "ok". That should fix your problem, (to sync media, open the zune software while your zune is connected, to charge and use the zune close the zune software).
You have to sync the avi with your Windows Phone Zune software on your computer and it should play. If it doesn't play correctly try a video conversion software such as Freemake to convert it into a phone friendly form of avi. If you have a Windows Mobile phone then the converter is your best bet. It always worked for me.
Try the web site of your mobile ie LG, Samsung etc. They often have the software which you can download. Some mobiles utilise active sync, it's a Microsoft product. Windows Vista utilises Windows Mobile, which has relaced active sync in later products.
