-- If all the bulbs are in series, then the switch can be at any point
in the series ring, and it will control them all.
-- If any bulbs are in parallel, then in order to control all of them, the
switch must be between the circuit and one terminal of the battery or
power supply.
How did you want to switch on the bulbs? If there isn't a separate circuit already running from the switch, through the wall, and to the chandelier, then you'd have buy pull chain switches. The chandelier would have to have holes drilled to mount the switches. The load wire from the house would be wired to the load side of each switch. Then two bulbs to one switch and three bulbs to the other switch. All the neutrals would tie together to the neutral from the house. I would HIGHLY recommend just purchasing a dimmer switch from your local hardware or home center. You could easily change the switch in the wall to a dimmer switch and have a lot more control over the illumination, and it wouldn't look like you have burned out light bulbs in your fixture. You can rewire a 5-bulb light for a 3-2 switch in a couple of other ways. Remove the light from the ceiling, open the lamp wiring and divide the selected 3 and 3-light sets. All of the neutral wires stay together (usually wired to the screw shell of the lamp holders). Add a 3-way switch in the fixture (e.g., off, 3-on, 5-on, or off, 2-on, 5-on) or bring each group of 3 and 2 hot wires out to separate wall switches. Switch 1 is 2 bulbs, switch 2 is the other 3 bulbs, and switch 1 and 2 together is all 5 bulbs. Or you can put all or some of them on dimmers.
Some for the dash light there is a little bulbs in the switch behind each controls so you have to open it with the headlight switch to see which is light and witch is not I know this because I had the same problem with my VSA VTM and 5 of the climate control lights were out all at once so I purchase the bulb from Honda and when by another place to have it put in cause Honda was charging me 300 dollar to change seven bulbs
The switch will not increase the current. The only thing that will increase the current is adding a larger load.Another AnswerTo maximize current flow in a circuit with 2 Flashlightbatteries, 2 Flashlight bulbs, and a switch, set aside the bulbs, put the batteries in series, connect the switch between the end poles of the battery set, and close the switch. The batteries will get hot and probably leak electrolyte, and be drained in seconds. If you want to maximize current through the circuit withthe bulbs in it, connect the bulbs in parallel to each other, and in series with the switch.
semi conductors are use to control the current flow in any circuit. they are widely used in diodes, transistors, igbt, scr and other electronic component manufacturing. these all allows you to switch or flow control of current. igbt allows you to control the out put magnitude through its gate. a transistor allows you to switch the out put.
You could have a bad brake light switch, bad bulbs, or a short in the wiring. Try changing the bulbs first. My Camry was doing the same thing. I put in new bulbs and no more problem.
its the switch but i can use the switch when i start it with the ebrak on! it functions properly until the ebrakes off. then its just highbeams all the time from there. i have to actually shut off the car and start it with the ebrake on to do anything. if it was the switch wouldnt it not work properly ever?
The reverse lights automatically come on as you put the car into reverse , if they are not coming on your most likely problem is the fuse or bulbs
your break switch on your break pedal.
First check the bulbs, then check the fuse, then check the switch on the transmission, and last check the wiring.
Put this question into google, and you will find many reasons and remedies to this problem. Ei...brake light switch, brake light bulbs, including the upper brake light bulbs.
If it is a "hobby Grade" controlled vehicle, then the motor needs to be reversed, or there is a switch on the control to switch the motor. (I am assuming that when you put the vehilce in revrse it goes forward.
It would either be a bad wire in the circuit from the brake light switch on the brake pedal to the bulbs, OR the bulbs have 2 filaments in them and the one that comes on when you apply the brakes are worn out, OR someone put the wrong bulbs in(single filament). I would change the 2 bulbs first.
