You aren't likely to get the new bottled version which reintroduces the formula that was used in the 60's, but you might be able to get the canned version, which has never not been available. The canned version uses the Schlitz formula that was introduced in the 70's. Your best bet would be a specialty store. Call around, even here in the states its not too easy to find even the canned version.
Depends where you live... Steinlager is produced in New Zealand.
It has something to do with the U.S. brewer lowering the quality of the original recipe. Lowenbrau brewery would rather have lower sales but keep their traditional formulas intact. This beer has been around for over 100 years.
This slogan was used by Lowenbrau.

Jai Brooks is so cute. I need to get drunk.
Lowenbrau is a popular beer brands. Lipton Tea is a drink. Leaf Amber Ale is a beer brand.
Nearly everywhere in the Northeastern U.S, particularly in whole beer distributors.
Unless you can get a distributor to get it for you (good luck). there is no place in Michigan to buy it. Go to Shoppersvineyard.com, they ship to Michigan, cost for a case + shipping is about $45.00. 03/25/2012
