I assume you are referring to The Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion. That depends on how you define awesome. Personally, I think it is very awesome. The graphics were cutting edge at the time, and still look good today, especially at higher settings. The gameplay is fun, and stays fun for a long while. However, if you're playing on the PC, user-made content can potentially keep you playing for months after you've finished the base game. In short, on a scale of one to then, Oblivion is a 9.
Unfortunatly, Oblivion is not multiplayer (at all) online, but you can download extras for the base game off the marketplace.

You can get a base (or bases) that will attach directly to the top of the receiver. Then the rings mount to the base. Pretty standard scope mounting process.
get yourself up to at least lvl 20, then go and search the mythic dawn's base. You will find it there.
