Youo may be able to post on a shooting forum as I did when looking for a 12 guage slug barrel. Traditions imported these guns from a company in Turkey named ATA. I tried to contact them by email with no success. I also contacted Traditions and was told no part or accessories were available for that model. The word is Stoeger's are very close in build to the ALS 2100 but that's not a chance I'm willing to take.
i have a 12 gauge unrifled barrel 500 model.what type of slug do you reccomend for the mossberg
11 - 48 slug barrel

Try MidWay USA, MidWest Gun Works, Brownell's
Browning did not offer one, but you may find an aftermarket Hastings barrel (www.hastingsbarrels.com) that will do the trick.
It starts to drop the instant it leaves the barrel
Lacking a slug barrel, improved cylinder works best for slugs.
Slug barrels were not made for auto 5's until 1962. These newer barrels will work, but need to be fitted. You may find a slug barrel for a 16ga on gunbroker.com either Belgian or Japanese, but you will need a qualified gunsmith to fit it to your gun.
