I have a 97 blazer and I had to go to a GM dealer to get the differential shift cable that connects the 4wd actuator to the vacuum actuator switch. Apparently a dealer is the only place you can purchase this part. Hope this helps.
About 30 min.
It is attached to the starter. The positive battery cable runs directly to it.
My issue was the actuatior had no vacum
Shift cable needs to be adjusted.
A 1995 blazer does not have a crank sensor. SORRY
To adjust the shift selector on a 1995 Ford Taurus wagon, first ensure the vehicle is in park and the ignition is off. Locate the shift cable at the transmission, disconnect it, and then use a wrench to loosen the adjustment nut. Shift the selector lever through all gears while ensuring the cable is properly aligned, then retighten the nut and reconnect the cable. Lastly, check the operation of the shift selector to ensure it engages properly in all positions.
Never heard of a "front wheel modulator" on a S-10 Blazer. If you mean hub, it is the wheel bearing assembly. If you meant 4x4 shift solenoid then depends if it is shift on the fly or not. The ABS has a modulator, but not sure what you mean.
Align the shift indicator orreplace it. Your problem is strictly column mechanical.
The 1995 Blazer was rated at 5000lbs towing capacity.
Shift cable has unhooked, fluid too low, transmission failed.Shift cable has unhooked, fluid too low, transmission failed.
If a 1995 Nissan Sentra will not shift out of first, there could be a problem with the throttle valve cable. The transmission could also be damaged.
yes?
