from pretty much anywhere...the thing is you need a BIOS, GPU, SPU, drivers, a hacked DVD drive, a secondary drive (another hacked DVD drive or a second hard drive or something like that), 2 processors (one 1.5+ghz, one 5+ghz),2gigs+ RAM, and an 8x+ AGP 512 MB DDR+ graphics card with advanced pixel shading and openGL...and that's it
no hacking
You have to set up the emulator for it to work and have a PS2 to download the bios from as they can nor legally be downloaded unless you purchased them with a PS2. The related link is a guide for the PCSX2 and includes much more than the just the ability to download the emulator. You should understand than even if your computer has the recommended requirements most computer users do not have the expertise to set up the emulator and that playing the games on a PC is not will the trouble free ease of using a PS2
If you have a PC and it is connected to the internet the PCSX2 will allow you to download for free and explain how to set it up. You will need a PS2 bios for it to work that you are supposed to download from your PS2 to meet copyright protections for the PS2 software. A link has also been added from Wikipedia for you to read and understand more about the emulator and to see minimum and recommended PC requirements for the PCSX2
