in the glove box
Its on the transmission, just look for a switch with wires to it.
I have removed an engine without the transmission and transfer case by adding a temporary crossmember under the transmission. I used a piece of angle iron chained across the frame to support the weight of the transmission. This was on a Chevy with a 4sp trans. You probably should consult a repair manual for your particular auto to be sure.
a 3sp A/T a 4sp A/T or a 5sp M/T your supposed to tall us, we can see it.
The towing capacity of your vehicle is noted on the door jamb sticker as the GVWR, it should be approximately 5500 pounds. Transmission coolers are highly recommended when towing.
If it is a 4sp std. it may have a clutch safety switch usually located at the upper end of the clutch pedal
On the 1993 Lebaron I believe only the 3.0L V6 engine was offeredwith the A604 4sp electronic overdrive transmission. The transmission filler tube is also the transmission dipstick tube and is located on the "driverside" end of the engine. There should be a "T" handle dipstick with "Transmission Fluid" labeled on it. Use a small funnel and DO NOT OVER FILL THE TRANSMISSION" Make absolutely sure your arent putting the tranny fluid in the ENGINE OIL dipstick tube located at the front center of the engine!
$6800 for 4sp 258 six with softtop and carpet
You have a New process 4 speed overdrive manual. They come with a Hurst shifter right from GM. These are getting rare, good transmission and light. Will hold under 350hp nicely. Good luck finding parts or seals. The transmissions were originally a Chrysler transmission adapted to GM. I have one in my 84 with a small block and it works great.
The transmission control module should be located under the dash below the storage compartment that is located just below the glove box. Take the lower dash trim panel off, and It will either be attached to the trim panel, or located behind it. Either way, it's much easier to get to if you take off the lower panel.
Your Transmission Range (TR) sensor is a prime suspect. Return to shop that re-did your transmission and explain the problem. The TR sensor may be bad or just need adjusting.
7 quarts per the service manual.
