I know this a really simple answer but take it to a gun specialist.
yes if you can find one for sale you can buy it. the only reason it is hard to find them is because benelli quit exporting the collapibile stock model to the U.S. so the ones you see now are made before they stop that's why they are hard to find and very costly. except if you are LEO then you can still order them like anyother shotgun
There are many places where one can buy a Benelli shotgun. One can purchase these shotguns from local gun stores. One may also purchase these shotguns at gun conventions. One can find gun stores in their area by visiting a directory.
The M1014 is the Benelli M4 Tactical. It is available only in semi auto. The Benelli M3 is the closest thing you'd find - it has the "dual action" feature, to where it could operate either in semi auto or pump action mode (in a similar manner to the Franchi SPAS 12). Additionally, Benelli has a whole line of pump action shotguns (the Nova series) which will share some commonality with the M1/M2/M3/M4 shotguns.

I have owned a beretta xtrema2 for about 4 years and have never had a faliure(remember to oil). I have taken it duck hunting, quail, dove pheasnt it is a great gun. You can even buy a slug barrel for it and easily mount a scope. But for the benelli I used one temporarily but it always jamed because of the inursura system if you use really heavy rounds you'll be find but sometimes you have to use light ammunition. In my opinion I fvor the beretta.
THE ONLY OPTION IS TO REPLACE IT, IT HAS A VERY HEAVY SPING COILED INSIDE, TRIED TO FIND A REBUILDING KIT AND COULDN'T.TRY THE SALVAGE YARDS.THE TENSIONER HAS MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM MARKS ON IT.AFTER INSTALLING A USED ONE JUST MAKE SURE THE INDICATOR IS BETWEEN THEM. GOOD LUCK PAUL G
If it is anything like my 1990 Generation I Legend, then there is a spring that attachs to the corner marker light and then to the body. It can be accessed from right behind the headlight, from inside the hood. Find the metal loop end of the spring and pull it towards you to dislodge it. Then the marker light which is held in by the sping and a plastic tab should come right out with gentle pulling.
I have a 1994 S10 and have had to replace two handles so far. They don't stand up well to stress. I pushed in the inside door panel where the handle is until I could see a "C" shaped pin that holds the handle to its spindle. Then I used needle nose pliers to pull the pin off, the handle will then slip off. When replacing pin, be careful because it will want to sping of the spindle and land somewhere where you can't find it. This happened to me both times.
