There are several good places, both of which are associated with universities. One, the Department of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences is located at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, in Western Massachusetts. The other, the Cambridge Entomological Club, meets each month at Harvard University. (The Cambridge club is the third oldest entomological club in the United States.) There are also other places to find entomologists in Massachusetts, but those two are well-known and could provide access to the latest research.
