Podcast will work with any ipod, including nanos. If you have nano 1st generation or 2nd generation, you can only use audio podcasts because you cant watch videos with these versions. The new 3rd generation, however, will allow you to watch video podcasts and listen to audio podcasts.

yes the podcasts should show up in your itunes library and on your ipod's main menu. if podcasts dont show up on the main menu on your ipod, then go to settings and customize main menu and make sure that podcasts are checked . ( you might have to sync your ipod again to get the podcasts onto it)
