Any temporary agency in your area, Kelley Services for example, should be able to help. You may find it more cost effective to have someone scan the documents into text format instead. If the current documents are in good condition, they will convert pretty well with a little editing. You could also hire a high school or college student to do the work. Another place would be transrciption agencies.

What is the difference between pdf and pdb?

Hello I think your question mentions to document file format. A PDF is Portable Document Format (PDF) is an open standard for document exchange. This file format, created by Adobe Systems in 1993, is used for representing documents in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. And PDB in this situation, it refers to an e-book format for certain e-books, although it is not strictly a file type format unto itself. I got this kind of documents on my mobile phone, I used it to read books. So it seems there is no connection between PDF and PDB. They are just two different types of documents.

If you type an essay in open office and submitt to your school can they view it using there word program?

If they have a program that can read .odt file format there is no problem. If they have only MS Word there might be a problem with .odt documents. So if I can advise you, in OpenOffice.org you can save the document also in .doc format (it is the drop down menu just bellow the field where you type the name of the document). The best way is to check with the school what types of documents they are able to process and then act accordingly.

How do you format my D drive alone?

If you can find a bootable CD, put it in your PC and restart the computer. When it's restarted, go to the DOS. In there you can give a formatting order like this..> At first type format> It will ask you which drive> Type the name of the drive that you want to format it (e.g: D:\ )> You will receive a message asking whether or not you are sure> If you type yes, it will start formatting it
