Have the ignition module in distributor checked.... could solve your problem (it solved mine!!)
inside of the distributor, just put away the cap and the rotor, and you,ll see a plastic cover ..the ignition coil is there,
take the air filter housing off on left side the ignition coils

Either the coil is bad or the ignition control module is bad.I would think the coil is faulty.
are the wires good? Plugs?
The ignition module and coil are contained inside the distributor and are not serviced as separate parts.
Suspect a bad coil or failed engine computer.

Well I had an ignition coil replaced in a 1990 Oldsmobile and the coil cost approximately $50. Labor would probably cost approximatley $35.
The ignition coil is inside the ignition distributor.
