obd 2 didnt come out until 1996. you need to find a factory manual on how to flash the codes on your dash bored. some Dodge vehicles you can make the check engine light flash say like it flashes once then a pause then two more flashes that would be a code 12. this is done by doing a cycle of on and off with the keys in the ignition without starting car. but im not sure how many times you cycle the key on-off-on-off-on within 4 secounds the check engine light will then flash each code if there is more than one it will flash 55 when done 5 flashes one secound pause 5 flashes 55, 4 secound pauses between each code

you did not mention model year of your truck. my guess is plug in your obd 1 scanner and hit the clear code button. or disconnect batt wait a couple of min, reconnect batt and allow engine to relearn systems.
