You can only get a wallpaper from DeviantArt if the artist offers a picture as a wallpaper. The images you see there aren't up for grabs; they're all pieces done by the artists, just like you can pick up a piece of paper and draw a kitten on it if you wish. You can try asking the artist if he/she will turn a picture of his/hers into a wallpaper. If you ask very nicely he/she might do it.
