Buy an empty box from ebay for the doll that you want so you have "proof of purchase". I think its on the box. Go tl the american girl store and say, "I ordered _______ online, and I never got her!" (In a sad look and a pouty lttle kid voice). American girl csnt say no to that. Ive done this for all my dolls. They give you it for free. Say thanks, mlook greatful, smile, jump up and down...... and if you really wanna go for it, tell 'em youve ordered the starter collection, or a best friends collection. Tomorrow im gonna get ruthie and her accessories and rebecca. I got the boxes today and everything. Rush the shippingon the box if u r really anxious. good luck!
